This class will be taught at our new Studio Annex, half a block from our retail shop. Directions will be provided prior to class (it is also easily walkable from our main location).
Space is limited; tuition must be paid in advance to reserve your space in a class.
HXtal is an archival epoxy that outperforms other adhesives commonly used to glue glass and other non-porous materials. Long used in the antiques and art restoration fields, it is an excellent means to achieve results only possible with “cold fusion”.
It dries optically clear and will not deteriorate or degrade over time. Really, it is the only adhesive capable of securing pieces of glass edge-to-edge; that’s only the beginning of what it can do. You can patch flaws and holes in glass, laminate pieces together, attach hanging hardware, and even coldwork the glue after curing.
The workshop will cover various applications of the glue, how to mix HXtal, prepare surfaces to be joined, and secure pieces during curing. Students will have the opportunity to mix HXtal and glue scrap glass to get hands-on experience with the process.

TUITION CANCELLATION POLICY FOR THIS WORKSHOP
If we need to cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen reasons, a full tuition refund will be provided.
If you need to cancel out of class, we will not refund tuition for cancellations made within 21 days of the first class date unless a replacement is seated. A processing fee of $35.00 applies to all refunds or transfers of tuition for this workshop.
