Rangoli is an art form originating in rural India, in which patterns are created on the floor or a tabletop using various materials such as powdered limestone, dry rice flour, colored sand, flower petals, and colored rocks. Guest instructor Komal Prasad teaches her method of creating Rangoli designs using glass powders to form elaborate and colorful design. You will be amazed at the patterns that can be created without stencils, but by using methods of manipulating lines of glass powder into waves, scallops, concentric circles, and flowers using basic tools and objects. Each student will make two sample tiles and a 7 x 7 fused and slumped dish.

TUITION CANCELLATION POLICY FOR THIS WORKSHOP
If we need to cancel a class: If Weisser Studio needs to cancel this class for lack of sufficient enrollment or other unforeseen cause, a full tuition refund will be given.
If you need to cancel out of class: Tuition will not be refunded for students' cancellations made within 30 days of the first date of the class unless a replacement is seated. A processing fee of $35.00 applies to all refunded or transferred tuitions for this workshop.
