Experience the thrill of manipulating hot glass to create stunning, combed patterns!
In this class, we teach you how to set up glass in the kiln and how to comb through the glass while it is hot to create fun and interesting patterns not attainable through other methods.
On day one, each student will set up a small 5” x 5” tile to practice combing and assemble a larger set-up (approximately 10” x 10”) to comb on day two.
Safety, firing, and combing in various kinds of kilns are all taught. This class focuses solely on creating a combed piece of glass, rather than a finished project; however, ways to transform your combed piece into a finished artwork will be discussed.

TUITION CANCELLATION POLICY FOR THIS WORKSHOP
If we need to cancel a class: If Weisser Studio needs to cancel this class due to insufficient enrollment or another unforeseen cause, a full tuition refund will be provided.
If you need to cancel out of class, tuition will not be refunded for students' cancellations made within 21 days of the first class date, unless a replacement is seated. A processing fee of $35.00 applies to all refunds or transfers of tuition for this workshop.
