Experience the fun of moving hot glass to create amazing, combed patterns!
In this class, we teach you how to set up glass in the kiln and how to comb through the glass while it is hot to create fun and interesting patterns not attainable through other methods.
On day one, each student will set up a small 5” x 5” tile to practice combing and assemble a larger set-up (approximately 10” x 10”) to comb on day two.
Safety, firing, and combing in various kinds of kilns are all taught. This class focuses solely on the making of a combed piece of glass, not specifically on a finished project; however, ways to turn your combed piece into a finished artwork will be discussed.

TUITION CANCELLATION POLICY FOR THIS WORKSHOP
If we need to cancel a class: If Weisser Studio needs to cancel this class due to a lack of sufficient enrollment or another unforeseen cause, a full tuition refund will be given.
If you need to cancel out of class: Tuition will not be refunded for students' cancellations made within 21 days of the first date of the class unless a replacement is seated. A processing fee of $35.00 applies to all refunded or transferred tuitions for this workshop.
