One of the biggest intimidation factors that warm glass artists encounter is the firing schedule! Your firing schedule can (literally) make or break your piece, and many otherwise confident glass artists can become confused and frustrated when trying to formulate the right programs for their pieces.
Nancy Weisser has been creating firing schedules for over 40 years for countless kiln formed projects and is ready to share her wealth of knowledge on the subject in this comprehensive presentation.
While firing glass is based on science, the information in this presentation is from an artist/educator’s perspective; put forth in simple language and an easy-to-digest format to help fusers feel comfortable adapting and formulating firing schedules for their own projects. It is Nancy’s belief that once you have gained a better understanding of the principles of firing glass in the kiln, you will have the freedom to be the creative glass maker you want to be!
Registered students will receive their copy of Nancy’s e-book, Fire-Up for Fusers: Understanding and Writing Firing Schedules shortly before attending class and are encouraged to review it prior.

TUITION CANCELLATION POLICY FOR THIS WORKSHOP
If we need to cancel a class: If Weisser Studio needs to cancel this class for lack of sufficient enrollment or other unforeseen cause, a full tuition refund will be given.
If you need to cancel out of class: Tuition will not be refunded for students' cancellations made within 21 days of the first date of the class unless a replacement is seated. A processing fee applies to all refunded or transferred tuitions for this workshop.
