Simply line your score up with the line etched on the top the plier and squeeze. The gently curved shape of the jaw flexes your glass just the right amount to create a clean and smooth break with a proper score.
The rubber tips on the jaw of the plier help protect your glass from scratching and over-squeezing. Adjustment bolt in the handle lets you set your preferred amount of breaking pressure, depending on what you're breaking.
