This workshop is designed for students who have previously worked with deep block projects and want to refine their techniques. Participants will have the opportunity to fire individual layers multiple times before the final firing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhile the original workshop provides an overview of the entire process in a shorter timeframe, this intensive class offers more in-depth development of concepts and imagery within the block, aiming to create a visually rich, detailed final piece.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn addition, students will learn various techniques for creating imagery within the block, including forming torchworked elements, making their own frit, painting, and more.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eParticipants will create an 8” x 8” or a 10” x 6.5” thick block comprising approximately 15 layers.
