Enhance your Working Deep skills with our advanced course focused on creating visual depth in thick glass. This workshop is designed for students who have previously worked with deep block projects and want to refine their techniques. Participants will have the opportunity to fire individual layers multiple times before the final firing.
While the original workshop provides an overview of the entire process in a shorter timeframe, this intensive class allows for more in-depth development of concepts and imagery within the block, aiming to create a visually rich and detailed final piece.
In addition, students will learn various techniques for creating imagery within the block, including forming torchworked elements, making their own frit, painting, and more.
Participants will create an 8” x 8” or a 10” x 6.5” thick block comprising approximately 15 layers. Guidelines will be sent out prior to the workshop so that students may start planning their projects before they come to the first class.
PLEASE NOTE THAT BY PURCHASING ENROLLMENT IN THIS WORKSHOP, YOU ARE AGREEING TO OUR TUITION CANCELLATION POLICIES
