Enhance your Working Deep skills with our advanced course focused on creating visual depth in thick glass. This workshop is designed for students who have previously worked with deep block projects and want to refine their techniques. Participants will have the opportunity to fire individual layers multiple times before the final firing.
While the original workshop provides an overview of the entire process in a shorter timeframe, this intensive class offers more in-depth development of concepts and imagery within the block, aiming to create a visually rich, detailed final piece.
In addition, students will learn various techniques for creating imagery within the block, including forming torchworked elements, making their own frit, painting, and more.
Participants will create an 8” x 8” or a 10” x 6.5” thick block comprising approximately 15 layers. Guidelines will be sent out prior to the workshop so students can start planning their projects before the first class.

TUITION CANCELLATION POLICY FOR THIS WORKSHOP
If we need to cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen reasons, a full tuition refund will be provided.
If you need to cancel class, tuition will not be refunded for cancellations made within 21 days of the first class date unless a replacement is seated. A $35.00 processing fee applies to all refunds or tuition transfers for this workshop.
