Large- 8.0625 square x 1.625 in (20 x 20 x 4 cm)
Slipcast from a specially formulated clay body, these molds have an exceptionally smooth surface, accept kilnwash uniformly, and do not crack under repeated usage if handled correctly.
Mold measurements represent the outermost possible dimensions of the mold (the base). A slumping mold must be prepared with a separator to prevent the glass from sticking to it during the firing process. Steep-sided molds and molds with recessed details need more frequent re-priming. Re-prime after every two to three firings.
