1120 Yellow* Transparent Rod
Sold as singles or in a bundle of 10.
Rod is sold in lengths of approximately 18 in (450 mm).
Rods are pulled from remelted Bullseye-compatible sheet glass. This Bullseye rod is an F-grade (recommended for both kilnwork and torchwork).
*Striking styles may appear different than their intended color before firing. These styles will reveal the targeted color after firing.
Notes:
Torch: Yellow color develops in the flame. Keep 1120-0576 transparent by using it in small amounts with minimal heatwork, or consider adding it towards the end of the time in the flame. We advise labeling all striking glasses.
Kiln: Working properties and kilnformed characteristics are consistent with sheet glass.
This style is not suitable for kilncasting because it can become incompatible when held at high temperatures for an extended period. It may also become incompatible in instances where processes exceed the parameters of the test for compatibility. Testing recommended when heatwork exceeds these parameters.
