Saturday mornings, 9:30-12:30
May 13, 20, 27, June 3
Four 3-hour classes. Tuition $399.00 includes use of tools and some supplies. Students must purchase their glass. PREREQUISITE: Beginner Copper Foil, or similar experience.
Space is limited; tuition must be paid in advance to reserve your space in a class.
Learn the traditional method of building stained glass panels, as seen in cathedrals and medieval churches! Unlike the Tiffany technique which involves wrapping each piece in an adhesive copper tape, this more traditional style uses preformed lead channels to hold the glass in place. Enjoy crisp, uniform lines in your finished pieces with the lead came technique!
All the steps are covered in this workshop, and students will have a variety of patterns available to work from. Tools will be supplied for students to use during class as well as some of the materials needed to complete the project (students must purchase their glass). Students wishing to do additional work at home can purchase tools and equipment at a discounted price. Each student will have the opportunity to complete a stained-glass window 9” x 12” or 11” x 14”.
PLEASE NOTE THAT BY PURCHASING ENROLLMENT IN THIS WORKSHOP, YOU ARE AGREEING TO OUR TUITION CANCELLATION POLICIES
