Experience the fun and excitement of creating glass beads using only a canister torch and minimal equipment. If you are interested in exploring the art of flameworking but are overwhelmed by the equipment and tools required, this is for you!
In this class, students will explore methods to create unique and unforgettable beads utilizing only the Hot Head torch and a Mapp canister- no oxygen required.
Excellent for all levels; beginners will learn everything they need to know, and more advanced students will learn additional techniques to spice up their work! Equipment, safety, forming and shaping the bead, and various decorating techniques are taught. You will make a handful of unique glass beads and gain enough knowledge to begin making beads on your own. Beginner’s beadmaking kits will be available for purchase if you want to continue the adventures at home!
Getting better is simply a matter of practice once you understand the basics; the full-day class format allows for extended practice!

TUITION CANCELLATION POLICY FOR THIS WORKSHOP
If we need to cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen reasons, a full tuition refund will be provided.
If you need to cancel out of class, tuition will not be refunded for cancellations made within 21 days of the first class date, unless a replacement is seated. A processing fee of $35.00 applies to all refunds or tuition transfers for this workshop.
