Ceramic fiber insulation blankets are used to cool finished glass beads made on a torch. Allows for temporary, gentle annealing for standard-size beads. Sandwich the glass between the fiber until the glass reaches room temperature.
Annealing in a kiln is suggested for very large, thick beads or pieces.
